How It Started
In 2017, Sarah discovered her passion for cold process soap making during a small class of five at a church in Pipe Creek, Texas. She quickly grasped the techniques involved and became enamored with the art. Her first creation was a goat's milk soap, infused with Honeysuckle Oil and molded in a repurposed Pringles can. Over the years, she has crafted countless bars, sharing her quality soaps with customers nationwide. While working as a waitress at a Roadhouse, she sold her soaps to earn some extra income, delighting her coworkers and patrons who eagerly anticipated her arrival with a box of beautifully wrapped soaps. Although many years have passed, Sarah continues to find joy in her soap-making journey

Our small business is comprised of a dedicated team of individuals.
Founded in 2024 by Sarah, our sole soap maker and product coordinator, Sundown Market reflects her passion for creating handmade soap and nourishing body oil while balancing her roles as a wife and stay-at-home mother.
Cody, Sarah's husband, oversees shipping operations, ensuring that all orders are securely packaged and dispatched.
Stephanie and Peggy are responsible for maintaining the quality of our handmade fiber and cloth products, meticulously attending to every detail in their craftsmanship.
Paige, our marketing expert, leverages her Film and Media Studies degree to enhance our outreach efforts.
Additionally, Chloe and Oliver, our cherished shop cats, contribute to the warm and inviting atmosphere of the Sundown family

Hand-poured from soy wax, our candles come in two sizes and are ideal for igniting at sundown, setting the stage for a soothing and inviting ambiance.
